Better off red: That’s the message from Karine Jackson’s latest body of work, London—an American Salon exclusive. “The collection is all about reds and the multitude of shades in that spectrum— from hidden bright oranges and deep auburns to something a bit more subtle,” says Jackson, who serves as creative director for Organic Color Systems and also owns Karine Jackson Hair and Beauty in London. To get the looks just right, Jackson used her signature Lotus Flower technique, which infuses the hair with a soft blend of graduated hues, giving it a fresh tone and more light. “It’s a beautiful alternative to highlights,” she says. “By choosing suitable shades for the complexion, the color frames the face and softens the features, shaving off years.” Searing-hot red hues and sexy silhouettes lend head-turning attitude to Karine Jackson’s latest collection.
