The Hempz Artistic Team’s breakout collection showcases hip hair looks that are perfect for a night out on the town. BY KELLEY DONAHUE PHOTOGRAPHY BY BODE HELM The fashion mecca of New York City seemed a fitting spot for the Hempz Artistic Team to commemorate the launch of Hempz Couture Hair Care, a new line of paraben-and gluten-free, 100 percent vegan formulas enriched with pure organic hemp seed oil. “For this shoot, we really wanted to play up individuality, creating on-trend looks that are playful and sexy,” says Ken Whittington, who, along with fellow team members, crafted an array of styles ranging from tumbling curls and textured waves to tactile crops and variations of the classic bob. “Combining different elements with the right styling and finishing products is the ticket to enhancing versatility.”
